In an amazing move, Amazon has officially partnered with Kickstarter to bring more than 300 projects to their digital forefront for hardware startups and crowdfunded projects, Launchpad.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Amazon Launchpad on creating a new path for those projects to be discovered, experienced, and loved,” Kickstarter CEO and Co-Founder Yancey Strickler.
“Our goal is to enable them to reach Amazon’s hundreds of millions of customers and to overcome one of the biggest challenges any startup faces — bringing their product to market successfully,” Adkins said.
The portal currently features a seriously wide range of items, from interesting gadgets and home goods to odd items like gluten-free banana flour.
“Working with Kickstarter is a great way for us to hear directly from customers what products they care about, since they truly hold the power to bring these products to life,” Amazon Vice President Jim Adkins said.
Successful Kickstarters featured on the portal can breathe a huge sigh of relief as they are offered an effective way to bring their projects out there. At the same time, consumers like us would have a blast discovering innovations that will help make our lives easier in ways previously unimaginable.
