For many iPhone users, this is probably by far the best rumored feature of the yet-to-be-released iPhone 7.
In this fast-paced world of Pokémon Go and online communication, unlimited (or at least extended) cellphone battery life has become more of a need than a want. So naturally, hearing that the upcoming Apple iPhones might have improved charging speeds is enough to rile loyal users up for its release.
The tip comes from a tweet that cited what appeared to be a Chinese source and included a photo of an iPhone 6S logic board versus the supposed iPhone 7 logic board. The tweet was later highlighted by AppleInsider.
The iPhone 6 and 6S have already been tested by iLounge to prove that they already charge significantly faster with an iPad adapter (90% in just 2 hours). Of course, if the latest rumor gets confirmed, users can ditch the technique and make do with their regular iPhone 7 chargers.
Definitely worth considering in case the iPhone 7 does come out with this feature in September.
